In Singapore for a short visit of under 12 months? You can rent a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, if you are above 18 years of age and have the following:
- A valid foreign motorcycle licence for motorcycles above 400cc
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by an authorised body in your country (eg. the Automobile Association), OR
- An official English translation of your foreign licence, if you do not have an IDP
*Foreign motorcyclists with a valid English-translated licence from ASEAN countries do not require an IDP.
Long Term Foreign Visitors
If you have been staying in Singapore for more than 12 months, you will need to convert your foreign licence to a Singapore motorcycle licence in order to continue riding locally.
New Singapore citizens and permanent residents must convert their foreign driving licences within three months of obtaining citizenship or permanent resident status.
